25-Week Culinary & Entrepreneurship Workforce Development Program

What We Do?
Way Down Yonder Legacy Foundation provides hands-on culinary, hospitality, workforce, and entrepreneurship education designed to help individuals develop the skills and experience needed to build meaningful careers and pursue business ownership.

Real-World Culinary & Hospitality Training

Participants learn in active culinary and hospitality environments where they can develop practical skills in food preparation, kitchen operations, customer service, hospitality, leadership, and day-to-day business operations.

Entrepreneurship & Business Development

We help participants understand the fundamentals of starting and operating a business, including business planning, financial management, marketing, operations, customer service, and leadership.

Our goal is to give individuals the knowledge and confidence to pursue their own entrepreneurial path.

Why it matters?

Our work connects culture, education, workforce development, and entrepreneurship to create pathways toward economic opportunity.

By combining instruction with hands-on experience, we help individuals prepare for careers, develop leadership skills, explore independent business ownership, and contribute to the communities they call home.

Culinary & Entrepreneurship Workforce Development

Our 25-week workforce development program combines culinary training with entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, leadership development, and practical business knowledge.

Participants learn not only how to perform the work, but also how a business operates from understanding costs and customers to managing people, creating systems, and preparing for future opportunities.

Learning Through Real-World Experience

We believe some of the most valuable lessons happen by doing.

Through relationships with operating culinary and hospitality businesses, participants can apply what they learn in real-world environments and gain experience that goes beyond the traditional classroom.

Your Pathway to Culinary & Entrepreneurial Success

We prepare you for more than a job. We help you build the skills, experience, and confidence needed to pursue long-term success in the culinary, hospitality, and entrepreneurial fields.

Through hands-on education, mentorship, and real-world learning experiences, participants can progress through a pathway designed to help them move from learning to employment, leadership, entrepreneurship, and independent business ownership.
